Public Trash & Recycling Notice
PSA: Please do not place any household garbage or recyclable materials in the Township’s trash (green) & recycle (blue) containers loaded in various public area throughout LBT. These containers are placed there for the public’s use and not for homeowners excessive trash/recycling. When they become full, they become a public nuisance because animals feed in them and/or the wind blows the trash all over the respective neighborhood. This causes unhealthy and dangerous situation especially during this pandemic period.
Any person putting household trash or recycling in a Township container will be subject to a civil penalty and if not paid within 30 days will be issues a summons. Therefore, your cooperation in complying with this issue could prevent a health hazard and will certainly be appreciated.
