NOTICE TO LONG BEACH TWP. WATER CUSTOMERS

The Long Beach Twp. Water Dept. will conduct its annual flushing of the distribution system from March 31st to the end of May, 2008.  We are presently in the process of the annual flushing.

A temporary slight discoloration of the water and a decrease in water pressure may be noticed as a result of the opening of fire hydrants.  This discoloration is not  harmful and will clear up if you let your water run for a short time.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but by flushing the system we improve the quality of the water delivered to our customers.
RECYLING DECALS FOR PAPER RECPTACLES ARE AVAILABLE AT THE RECEPTION DESK, LOCATED AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE OF TOWN HALL.

Recycle your household batteries !!

Drop off containers are conveniently located at the front and rear entrances of the Long Beach Township Municipal Building 6805 Long Beach Blvd., the Brant Beach Post Office the Long Beach Island Health Department and the Foundation for Arts and Sciences in Loveladies.

Long Beach Township PBA Local #373 in conjunction with Ocean County Corrections PBA and the Ocean County PBA Conference will be collecting new and used DVDs and CDs for shipment to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
