The Long Beach Twp. Water Dept. will conduct its annual flushing of the distribution system from March 31st to the end of May 2008. We are currently in the process of the annual flushing.
A temporary slight discoloration of the water and a decrease of pressure may be noted as a result of the opening of fire hydrants. This discoloration is not harmful and will clear up if you let your water run for a short time.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but by flushing the system we improve the quality of water delivered to our customers.
Water Bill Annual charge due by July 1st.
Sewer Bill Semi-annual charge: first half due by March 1st; second half due by September 1st. If not paid by due date a charge of 1 1/2% per month will be added.
